And Ogden Baseball Teams Gearing Up For The Season (Orem, UT) --
The Orem Owls begin their season in less than a month against the
Ogden Raptors. The Raptors will be managed by Mike Brummley who lead
the Salt Lake Stingers from 2002-2004. The Owls and Raptors will suit
up on June 17th in Orem with the first pitch set for 7:05 p.m.

Are Blasted In Fresno (Fresno, CA) -- The Salt Lake Bees have lost
3 of their last 4 dropping yesterday's 6-2 game against the Fresno
Grizzlies. Scott McClain blasted a two run single off of a Kasey Olenberger
fast ball and the Grizzlies never looked back. Olenberger allowed
four runs on six hits in five and one third innings of work. Salt
Lake will face off against the Grizzlies again tonight at 8:05 p.m.

Oral Commitment From Wasatch High Standout (Provo, UT) -- BYU received
an oral commitment from Kim Parker from Wasatch High in Heber City.
The Two time all stater in soccer and basketball helped propel the
Wasps to an undefeated season. Because of NCAA rules coaches cannot
comment on players until after they have signed their letter of intent.
Parker averaged 15 points per game with four steals and four assists
for Wasatch.

Conference Finals Begin Tonight (Salt Lake City, UT) -- The LA Lakers
will host the San Antonio Spurs tonight in the Western Conference
finals. The Boston Celtics defeated the Detroit Pistons 88-79 last
night in the opener of the Eastern Conference finals. The Jazz were
defeated by the Lakers in six games.

Edge The Rockies (Denver, CO) -- The Giants stopped the Rockies'
three-game win streak last night at Coors Field, 6-5. The Rox and
Giants wrap up the three-game series this afternoon at 1:05. The
pitching matchup features Jonathan Sanchez for San Francisco, against
Ubaldo Jiminez.
